MeeNews is a brand new all-in-one email marketing WordPress plugin that allows you create, customize and send your own newsletter in a minute with styled html or plain text mails, customizable colors, images, headers, text size and colors via WordPress administrative dashboard. The system required recommends WordPress 2.7+, PHP 5.2+ and MySQL 5.0 or higher. You can also create your mail lists, manage the users, poste to a mailing list specifically targeted. There are 2 different newsletter themes ready to use. If you just want a simple one, MailPress or Newsletter are the choices.

Meenews developers ask 75 bucks to install it for people who don’t have a clue, and it’s fair I guess.
But what no one has said up to now is that in their installation manual they totally avoid the instructions on how to create the subscribe form. Yes, no easy to install widget on Meenews, but a process where you don’t even know the name of the input fields to use in the form. This, I guess, is totally unfair.
Hey Enrico,
ask $75 for installation is not reasonable if the developer really want to give away the plugin for free, is it a trick?!
I do not think so, it is very easy to install a widget that is for anyone who does not know how to insert php code, plus the price of $ 75 is to customize and fully integrate the plugin into your wordpress theme and it is time work in some way have to charge I think.
Greetings to all
Why should someone not charge for doing a job that will benefit your business.
It’s called business, you exchange money for it.
I think people are getting too used to free WordPress widgets that hard-working developers have given away because they feel the community deserves to share their hard work.
Be grateful for what you receive, and prepared to pay if you want work done for you.
Regards
Michael
the fee for service is fair enough if you need the service, but the poor instructions and lack of transparency isn’t. i know my way around wordpress and simple php hacks so the information should be made available for a developer / designer to add the form to a text widget or straight into the page code.
also, the code itself has to be buggy as the plugin leads to issues with other page scripts and code. for something as simple as a front-end subscription form this simply makes no sense. obviously the backend newsletter template system is great but this has (or at least should have) no baring on the user-viewable front end.
i’ve had some correspondence with the developers but their communication is not good enough.
if you’re looking for a foolproof solution look elsewhere until this one is fixed up.
