Lilina, developed by Ryan McCue, is a simple open source PHP news aggregator/news reader application for aggregating RSS and Atom feeds from a web-based interface. It supports for both RSS and Atom industry standards for news sharing. There is no MySQL database required and also allow you to import or export feeds with an OPML file. The news aggregator application requires PHP5 to run and makes use of two builtin PHP libraries, HTML Purifier and SimplePie. Lilina has a plugin system for extending its capabilities and customize the template as well. Download Lilina News Aggregator in zip, the current development version is Lilina 1.0 Beta 1.
