Google Browser Size Check Your Website’s Usability

Google Labs released a new advanced analytics, browser window size visualization tool called Google Browser Size. It’s a visualization of browser window sizes for people who visit Google. You can see which important parts of your web page can’t be seen by users without scrolling. For example, the “90%” contour means that 90% of people visiting Google have their browser window open to at least this size or larger. Utilizing browser window size data from Google’s home page to overlay statistics, in terms of percentages of users, on top of your website. It helps you see which portions of site are exposed to maximum audience and what lies below the fold. You can adjust the translucency of the overlay and it even allows you to interact normally with your page with the overlay on top. This tool doesn’t require a sign up, or a Google account. Just enter the site’s URL you want to check and hit “Go”.
