Snippage is an cross-platform Adobe AIR application that allows you create a computer desktop widget from any part of website. This Adobe Air app lets you populate your desktop with parts of various webpages that can be refreshed automatically. Computer users can use this to display the most recent posts of favorite blogs, web-based todo list, any new items or favorite pictures, etc.

Snippage Adobe Air application comes as a floating window which can be expanded into a basic web browser with an address bar on the top. You just enter a website url in the address bar and then load it. Snippage will display a transparent rectangle on the screen which can be resized, dragged and moved around to fit specific content on the website. Choose any part of the website, select the refresh period, and click on the scissor icon in the upper-right corner to create the widget. You can create multiple snips and put them anywhere you like, set the links to open in a new window, and even disable automatic page refreshing if you choose. Snippage requires Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) platform and is free to download for Windows and Mac.
