Synected shrink, track and share any URL on the Internet from your WordPress website. You can now shorten links using your own domain name and not need to use the thirty party services such as tinyurl.com, bit.ly, or any other link shrinking service. In addition to creating short links based off your own domain, Synected tracks each hit on your URL. Synected is a useful plugin for you to mask affiliate links, strengthens your brand, keeping your domain name in view of your audience even on Twitter and other micro-communication platforms.

Synected is highly configurable, and can be restricted to only certain Wordpress users, or opened to the general public. It supports the features such as optional custom URL names and tracking of URL click counts. No .htaccess editing or other advanced installation steps are required. Synected is currently in beta.
